ABOUT VACATION RENTALS

The short-term home rental industry has been growing for years and we have been part of it by innovating global advertising, marketing and reservations including the use of AirBnB, VRBO, Expedia, Booking.com and hundreds of others.

We have designed and created the most robust lodging management software available that operates properties but also administers our growth and communications. It has secret capabilities no one else has matched.

We provide hospitality grade housekeeping, property maintenance, guest services and owner relations in a number of geographic markets. We also manage and provide booking services to small inns, resorts and other lodging providers. All of them need what only we can do.

ABOUT THE VORTEX

ABOUT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

We're are searching for friendly, dynamic, and helpful professional sales people to talk on the phone and sometimes in person; with second home owners, inns, resorts, home owner associations and real estate agents to offer our unequaled knowledge, technology and results.

If you like to set goals for yourself, that pay off in career growth and ever escalating income, this is your place.

You will work with clients from first contact to enrollment, onboarding and continued client relationships. You need to dress well, speak well, be able to write custom sales letters and proposals.

We adapt our services to the needs of clients. You must be honest, sincere and have an ever- smiling personality.

If you have experience in the vacation rental, hotel or resort industry sales we want to meet you soon. We are not a timeshare company, but if you have timeshare sales background you can transition to our growing industry with ease.

The business development tasks include researching owners, inns, resorts and competitors, knowing local regulations, building a network of real estate agents and other leaders in each geographic location. Make no mistake this is a professional sales career.

There is frequent use of phones, computer and other equipment. You will send lots of emails, make repeated follow up calls, handle questions and propose solutions to clients.

You must have a reliable vehicle for occasional trips around the Northwest. We pay for mileage and travel expenses.

You will work directly with our CEO and other officers, with our research director, production directory and with our local manager partners to grow the business in each market.

We will provide informal hands-on training, leadership, mentoring and knowledge; but you must be a self-starter able to search out and dig into opportunities, send correspondence, telephone to get appointments and meet with clients in Seattle or other Northwest Communities. You will have to make your own waves.

ABOUT YOU

This is a full time permanent position located on Seattle's Capitol Hill in the exciting Pike-Pine Corridor and in a wonderful warehouse/loft building with high ceilings, big windows and small group of fun-loving coworkers.

Much of your schedule will be Monday through Friday 9AM to 5:30PM, but speaking with clients on the phone in the evenings is common. Weekend travel and phone calls also happen.

If you are a clock-watcher business development is not for you. You will need to dive deep into the lodging industry, know the players, go to seminars and become a leader. You must love travel and make it your career.
